“Clarence Thomas Center Axonometric”

Freehand Drawing on Vellum in Pen

 24”x36”

 2016

This work is from a course called Graphics for the Building Arts based in the Clarence Thomas Center building at SCAD. We were instructed to create a set of drawings of our building at ¼”=1”. There was no way to measure the upper floors, so keeping the placement and scale of the windows proved challenging but possible. Every interior and exterior inch that was accessible was measured and scaled down to ¼”, and the final drawing combined all measured elements into an axonometric.
